I'm looking for a program that will sync specific folders (Time Machine looks like it doesn't do this but I haven't tried it yet). I keep a bunch of different backup drives and I want to be able to select a source folder, a destination folder and have it sync the two additively, meaning, I don't want anything deleted from the target that isn't in the source, but I do want it to add anything that is in the source that isn't in the target, if that makes sense. For instance, I have a folder with all of my photos on the backup, but only keep a keep newer photos on my computer, so I want it to take all photos that haven't been backed up yet and add it to the backup. I also want to make sure it will take care of any nested folders within that folder and of course all the files within that.

The best candidate so far looks like this program called... of course... Sync Folders Pro. It costs a few bucks but I don't want to get it only to find out it isn't what I want. There is also, confusingly, a program by the same company called Compare & Sync Folders, and I'm not sure what the difference is. The descriptions on the site look more or less the same. So I am curious if anyone has any experience with these programs and if they can say they will do what I want them to do, or if there is something better.

Thanks!
