I have the new iLife '08. Very nice too. In the past, I backed up my photos to an external hard drive by dragging the iPhoto Library folder to it. In the new iPhoto, I noticed that the new iPhoto Library seems to be the entire program. After I copy it to my external HD, when I double click it, iPhoto (program) comes up. Is that correct???

Thanks.

Frank

It's not the program, it's the same library directory, only it's put into a package now. Right click it and go to "Show Package Contents".

Ahh, thanks.

I have to say I'm impressed with the new iLife-iPhoto. I was a bit skeptical at first. I had a ball playing with Web Gallery too. Really nice.

Event Sync

Yes, I believe I can backup my photos themselves ... but when using something like Chronosync to backup/sync between two computers the events don't sync
