I have a 2tb MyBook connected to my 27" iMac (also has a 2TB internal HDD). The external backs up the iMac but I am still nervous and feel like I want one more layer of redundancy. Is it possible to connect an external drive to my AEBS and have that drive back up the drive attached to the iMac?

By the way, the iMac is connected via ethernet to the AEBS. Appreciate the help!

If you are truly anal you need an offsite backup. I have a portable drive I back up my really important stuff to and switch out periodically with a twin that sits in my lockbox at the bank. Yes, you can use CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper to copy your existing backup...but if it's still on site, it's vulnerable.
