Back-up options for Fusion/Xp

Using 24" Imc and have a TC that backs up the mac, but my windows apps and files (quickbooks) are not getting backed up. I created a folder on the TC called QB and am backing them up there, but I have read the the TC will eventually fill up and take that space. Is that correct?
I am thinking about getting an external firewire drive to do backups as well. Any suggestions?

I use SuperDuper!, great program will backup everything.

Windows XP, programs and data are all contained in VMWare folder on mac.
If something goes wrong, just copy over VMWare folder from SuperDuper! backup
