Hi All!
I finally jumped back on the Mac (Macbook 2.0, 2GB) after selling my Powerbook G4 prior to the Intel switch.
Anyway, I have a few annoying things that I need to run Winbloze for, such as Quicken/MS Money since the Mac version of Quicken blows so badly.
I don't want to screw with dual booting and for the limited application-only functionality I need, I want to go with a virtual machine. The VMware beta has some issues still, so I've been eyeing Parallels, however I have a question.
What is their upgrade policy if I purchase it? Is it a year of upgrades, upgrades within a major version number, or (hopefully) lifetime? I figure that as things are tweaked and compatibility is improved, I'll be wanting updates to the VM and I could not find an answer to this on their site (or I just plain missed it).
Thanks,
Mike
