I received this response when inquiring when Backdrops would be updated for iPhone 4:

So glad you asked. We just submitted an update to the app store less than an hour ago. Hopefully Apple will approve it within the next few days.

In the meantime you can get 640x960 wallpapers directly from http://interfacelift.com/
