Before purchasing a used iMac, is there any way to check:

The original purchaser information.
The original place and date of purchase.

The system is still covered with AppleCare, so I can estimate when it was originally purchased, but can I find where it was purchased from?
 
Clearly not possible within legal boundaries. After all, this is the buyer's private data. You can always ask the person who sells it to you to show you the original receipt though ;)
