I've noticed that when I not within arms reach of my phone, the background heart rate function does not work.

For example, I was outside trimming my tree outside and left my phone inside. My watch was still connected to my phone on Bluetooth but hadn't take a background heart rate measurement in over 45 minutes. I was able to notice because of the complication information on the watch face. I manually took a heart rate measurement and it was logged in my phone, but the 45m of data is still missing(not delayed transmission).

This happened again today. Cleaning my living room and my phone was in my master bedroom, less than 30ft away. Missing 30m of heart rate data.

I have a Watch S4 and iPhone X, both on latest code.

Anyone else have similar issues?

This is happening on my wife’s AW3 as well in the last couple of days. Stopped logging during a 10k, too.
