I have searched and searched for an app that can record video from the front facing camera while in the background.

I want it so that anyone using my phone is recorded.

All I can find are things like Stealthcam. If you turn the phone on while it's recording you can see it's recording so that is no use.

I really can't believe that there is no such app written.

Sounds like it would wreck battery life and storage. I'm sure you have your reasons, but why not just put a passcode on your device?

I didn't say I didn't want people to use the phone, I just wanted to record while they did.

I have installed some camera tweak that lets the phone record video while the screen is completely off. This is good, but if someone picked up my phone and turned it on, they would see that it is recording.

I want a background recording app so that if anyone DID pick it up while I was recording it would not show that it is recording and rather than some dummy screen it would work as normal while still recording if they happened to try using it.

Where I work some people have been coming into my office when I am not there and saying things about me to other persons in the office. Trying to play each of us off against the other and I want proof. I just want to be able to leave my phone in there when I am out to see what it going on. Nothing more sinister than that I'm afraid.

sounds creepy.... LOL

Couldn't agree with you more. You would think he'd have come up with a more believable excuse... "just had a baby and want to use it to record her sleeping" or something like that.

Remind me to not go to the same gym locker room as him, LOL
