So I updated to the latest Backgrounder version and now the badges show up all the time on the Phone, iPod, Mail, etc...since they're pretty much almost always running on the background.

Before they never had badges unless I enabled them through Backgrounder.
Is there any way to turn those badges off on the native apps? Thanks.

In Brackgrounder app, go into "Overrides" > select one at time > turn "Badge" OFF.

I don't like how i see the badges on apps that I'm not backgrounding for a split second after I press the home button (to quit the app.) I guess the new Backgrounder gives the badge to an icon for every app that's running, not just if it's backgrounded, and then removes the badge when it isn't running (unless you specify to have no badges.)

this is driving me nuts

we can make it go away by using the other notification type (the one that only shows in the status bar when the app is open) but if the app is running, id like to see the badge from the home screen in case i forget.

but seeing the badge for a spit second catches my eye every time i close an app... argh not a big deal just annoying

Uhh, yeah. That's kind of the point of having a badge enabled..

No. Believe it or not, the point of having the badge enabled in Backgrounder is to show you what apps are running in the background. So why do foreground apps have the badge (as evidenced by the badge still being there until a second after the app quits)?

It's not a big deal at all. Just something I noticed in the new version.
