Backin up Apps from Cydia

Just wondering if anyone knows how to back up Apps that have been downloaded through Cydia.
Can you ssh into the iPhone and download then to you Mac and then later ssh into the iPhone and put them back in ? I would imagine that this is not possibel due to different pieces being "Installed" in different places correct ?

I am wondering if this is possibel ?
