Hi,

I have a data CD which I use quite a bit and is getting a little worn out, and rather than have it fail on me, I'd like to create a backup of it, ideally a DMG file so I don't have to load the CD every time I want to use it. How do I go about doing this (I'm using Tiger, not Leopard)? Is it just as simple as clicking the "Create disk image" button in Disk Utility?

Thanks :)

Note: I am NOT a pirate :) If I understand UK Law correctly, I am allowed to have one backup of a CD for my own personal use, assuming I bought the original (which I did), in case the original fails.
