So before I make my clean install I was wondering how to copy my messages and if possible restore them once I have Yosemite installed.
I've looked everywhere on the internet, and I am told messages are located here:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.ichat/Data/Library/Messages
Thing is, there is no such thing as a "Containers" folder in the Library in Mavericks, at least on my computer.
Anyone know where the Messages from the app are saved??

NVM Turns out I had to go to the hidden Library in the GO menu in the Finder. Strange.. I guess the Library from the Macintosh HD is different from the one in the Go menu..
