I had a half-baked idea a few minutes ago, and I was wondering if there was a way to make this happen.
Basically, I'm going to be graduating high school in a few months and going off to college. For the most part, I really think I'd like to clean up my drive and wipe my computer clean (Early 08 MB) EXCEPT for the applications.
This would include most of my Word, Excel, Powerpoint documents, any and all dreamweaver web sites I've created, etc.
Basically, I want to restore my machine to ALMOST factory settings without having to reinstall my applications.
How would I go about doing this?
BTW, I do use Time Machine onto an ext. 500gig drive.
Again, idk if this is possible, and I'm not 100% sure if I'd do this, I just know there's a lot of crap on my HD that I definitely will not need in the future, and I'd really like to get rid of a lot of it. Obviously, I could always go through and just delete folders and items I won't need anymore, but is there a faster/more thorough way of doing this?
</horribly put together question>
