We all know that backing up dvd's THAT WE ALREADY OWN is childs play. No need to beat that dead horse again. I would how ever like to pose a question that is loosely related. If the file structure of your back up files has not been changed you can simply burn a data disc and your set top player can still read the disc and put the movie on your screen. Now comes the part that may make me look like an idiot. Like most folks I've been using Roxio's toast. My long winded post boils down to this; can you burn the same data disc with the finder and still have it work in a set top player?
