Seems like it might be a stupid question, but here goes.

Has anyone had experience with the following.

MBP with two External Drives - daisy chained on FW 800.

One of the above externals is used for a Time Machine Backup.
The Time Machine Backup also Backs Up the (non-time machine) external FW drive.

So that in the eventuality of a drive failure of either or both the internal or (non time machine) external. The Time Machine External can restore both the Mac HD & External FW drive.

Thanks.

I don't see a question, but yes, you can restore data backed up via Time Machine, though you might have to use the Finder and not the fancy TM GUI in some cases.
