in anticipation of the new iPhone I started thinking about backup and restore. My wife and I use the same computer and have sync and restored (with new phones) using the same iTunes library.
With Apple Music and family app sharing we now have our own Apple ID's that we use for iTunes/App Store.
My wife's phone is a combination of apps from her account and mine.
I'm thinking the best way to backup and restore her next phone is to create a new iTunes library on the computer and sync her phone to that, then with the new phone, restore from that backup. I'm sure we'll have to redownload some of her apps which she originally downloaded from my Apple ID.
Does this sound like the best idea going forward?
Anyone with experience in such matters?
