Does anyone have any advice for backing up my MAC files externally, so that they will work on a PC as well?

If I simply use my Ipod I wouldn't be able to hook it up to a PC and use the files because my Ipod is only formatted for a MAC. I would like to have some sort of external device that would hold at least 20gb maybe more of information that I could load my MAC files onto and then plug it into a PC and be able to load the files right onto it.

Any suggestions what the best devices would be?

You should buy an external hard drive. It would be a simple procedure: formatting it as FAT32 so it can be read/written by Windows, and then remembering to copy the important stuff over periodically.

MAC and Mac are different MAC is a code given to every wireless capable device and Macs are computers made by Apple :D

Would it be possible to format a flash drive in this format as well? So, that the information on it could be read with a Mac and PC?
