Hi,

Sorry, I searched here and the web... can't find a good answer. Is there a way to backup the built in Notes app?

I am selling my iPad and want to get the information off without emailing each page to myself.

Thanks,
-S

I'm not at home so I can't tell you the exact location, but when you plug your iPad into your computer to sync, you should be able to scroll around the sync settings and find one that says "Sync notes". It should be with the Calendar & mailbox syncing options.

If you use Gmail as your mail account it creates a "Label" (folder) called NOTES in your gmail account. As long as that checkbox is checked on your iPhone on the Mail settings.

This is the correct answer. Once you sync the notes will show up in the Mail app.

All the best
