Backing up iPhone 4 baseband shsh?

So, members of the dev-team are saying that the iPhone 4 baseband uses the same ECID verification as the firmware upgrade. This is to prevent downgrades, if a bb bootloader exploit is found, or upgrading to an exploitable version. So, does Umberlla store the bb shsh, or do we have to do something manually?
