Backing up iphone data from a pc.

Hi All, As you can see I am (very) new to the forum and also only two days in to being and iphone owner.
I wondered if possible to make a back up of ALL my iphone data that has been put on my pc via itunes ?
And if so what folder would I find the information in ? (Windows xp)
I am very pessimistic when it comes to hard drives and wanted a back up of my iphone other than via itunes.

You should also backup the iTunes folder and any folders where you have your pics.
