backing up ipod to macbook

does anyone know of a program I can use to backup my ipod to a seperate program in addition to itunes on a macbook running on leopard???
something like copypod but for Mac...I tires ipodrip...not working....

I don't want to replace my itunes library....just a backup...and also some albums I have on my ipod and not my itunes. so I need to create a backup of my ipod. just to be safe

what if I already have most of the music on itunes????I wouldent want all the songs doubled....I have alot of music
