I was wondering if anyone has figured out yet a way to get iTunes to backup the data for the iPhone apps when they are on the iPod touch, rather than it just backing up the data for the iPod apps.

What about using something like SuperDuper to make backups of the system partition? I'd be interested in something like that since I've got this iTouch all set up exactly how I want it :apple:

backups

I've just being using unix to backup that partition... its only 300 something megabytes...

this way I dont have to redo my setup every time it crashes... or used to crash... I havent had to do it in over 5 or 6 weeks so im pretty happy with the stability

How would one do that then? I run OS X so I assume I can do it within UNIX on here.

This would be awesome since I have been scared to try 1.1.2 because last time it didn't work and being able to restore would be awesome.
