What is the best method for backing up iTunes music?

I've done the backup to dvd but what happens if your collection goes over 8.5gb? Does it ask for another dvd disc during the backup?

Does iTunes allow a backup to Hard Drive option?

Thanks!

P.S. I've done the copy itunes folder thing to another hard drive but I have notice issues in doing that. At times, itunes can play everything fine when I restore it from the backup drive and other times itunes will not play the song at all.

Yes, iTunes will tell you that more than one disc will be required. When the first disc is done, it ejects and you pop in the next one. Just keep popping in DVD's til you're done. Or use Time Machine.

I've never had problems with just backing up the iTunes folder. Back-up the complete iTunes folder and if you ever need to restore it, just replace the iTunes folder in your computer with the one you backed up.

It should work, I've always made it that way.:)
