I have alot of music on my macbook pro (52.7 gbs). I want to delete the music files, like the ones i unziped and unrared from the internet, to get some harddrive space, and just keep those files in my itunes and itunes folder

i know this doesnt make much sense haha, but if anyone can help me out, i would greatly appreciated it

i'm not really sure what you're asking. if you want to get rid of the files, you can just delete them. itunes should have the music in its system (having itunes organize your music for you).

if you want to back them up i'd suggest an external hard drive, just drag the files over and delete from the laptop hd.
