Backing up my Macbook ready for replacement

Hi guys,

My MB is going back to Apple for replacement, and I was wondering if anyone can give me a quick run-thru of how to back up things like settings, etc... I have all my docs, etc, backed up to a server so that's all ok. Is it possible to back up things like keychains, or are they encrypted on a machine-specific basis?

Copy the Library in your Home folder and that should retain most of your settings. I'm almost 100% certain this will keep your Keychain Access information too. See this article for more information.
