Hi
I backed up my iphone 3g yesterday and i waited a long time for it finish but that isnt problem...
Today i got the ALoD and had to restore and when i went to get the data from the backup it says its corrupt and this isn't the first time. i waited for the back up to finish so it's not like ejected my phone too quickly. I'm annoyed cause now i have to add each contact again:mad:.

Aren't your contacts stored in your system's address book? This has occured a few time to others due to general software/hardware issues. Before performing another backup, remove all previous backups to prevent any corruption, then do a disk scan (ScanDisk in Windows, Disk Utility in OS X) and see if there are any actual problems with the hard drive or the data structure.
