backing up problem

Hello,
after jailbreaking and unlocking it ( with the new 3.0.1)
now every time I dock my iphone
the itune and iphonebrowers see the unit see the content
but when I right click to back up
i get an error message that tell me:
cannot back up because the iphone is disconnected
I tried with 2 different computers
i try to clean the device history
i tried to re-install itunes and iphone browser
and still the same
any help or ideas will be appreciated
