If you are backing up; backup for yourself and not your friends...

bigandy macrumors G3 Apr 30, 2004 8,852 7 Murka Oct 26, 2007 #3 Branded disks are generally more reliable, I find. Go for a media brand such as TDK, and you won't go wrong. Walmart/etc disks aren't going to be as great. This is an important backup - don't buy cheap just for cheapness' sake.
