I've had my iPad 2 for over about 2 weeks now and I'm considering getting an exchange because there's a light leak in the bottom left that seems to be getting worse..

Anyways, if I use the 'back up' feature on itunes, would it save my apps, settings, and files (like those saved in zen viewer)? I also had to select a bunch of certain apps to put on the iPad from my long list of apps saved on my computer. It would be a pain to reselect them again, so I wanna know if the syncing of apps for the exchanged ipad will be the same as before. Thanks for any responses!

bump .. can someone tell me if file and photos are saved in the back up?

Hi

If I am not mistaken, a backup is a backup of everything on the iPad.

But to restore it you need to use restore (and not the individual settings of the iPad).

But since you are returning the iPad to an Apple store, you can certainly get a full and precise answer there.
