Recently I tried to make a backup of my Tiger disks. The first one went fine (used Disk Utility), but couldn't back up the second because the 4G DVD was too small (the second Tiger DVD is like 7G). So I bought a double-layer DVD, but apparently the SuperDrive doesn't burn to DL DVDs.

How can I back up that second disk? Is hooking up a burner that can do DLs the only way? That would suck...there has to be another way.

Second Tiger DVD??

Hm. Yes. My retail box came with one Tiger install dvd and one iWork trial version cd. Toast backed up the Tiger install dvd without a hitch on a regular dvd-r.

I have Toast...should I just use Toast instead of Disk Utility?
