Hello, I am backing up my Macbook onto an external 750G maxtor one touch using Maxtor Manager. I used the same program when i had a PC and liked the fact that it only backs up files that change and gives you a history of files you have deleted or changed. This way you can quickly back up your system. I have recently noticed that the 250Gig partition that I use for backups is filling up fast. Specifically iphoto library seems to be completely backed up (all 16G) even when I only rotate one photo. Is there a way to have the iphoto library show discrete files when backing up? Specifically I am running out of space on my mac and would like to remove photos from iphoto but have them backed up onto the maxtor. I know that I could just move them from iphoto to the maxtor then delete them from iphoto, but I am looking for a way that the maxtor backup program (or another backup program) will see discrete files instead of just one large iphoto file, so that I can get away from manually managing my backups.
