backing up windows 7 on Mac

Hi everyone, my problem is I want to delete my virtual Machine; windows 7 from Parallels desktop and reinstall Windows 7 on bootcamp instead. So I was wondering is backing up windows 7 the same thing as for pc? Or is there another way that I can transfer My Windows 7 data on Parallels Desktop to Bootcamp directly.
