What's the best way to back up both a Mac and PC on my home network?
About to take delivery of my new powerbook, and want to integrate some form of regular backup for the data that I'll be transferring from my Vaio as well as the data on my wife's Vaio. What is the best way to do this?
Can Maxtor's One Touch or other forms of back up devices back up both PC and Mac data on the same physical drive? i.e. I connect it to the Mac, back up, and then reconnect it to the PC and back up again.
Or can they back up across the wifi network I have. Would it work if I mounted my wife's drive onto the Mac and selected it as a source for backing up?
