As I already started with my OCDs questions, so let me finish with one more:))
Do you have this kind of backlight bleeding on dark screen at full brightness and is it normal?:

I feel like your never going to enjoy your phone...

Anyways my 4S doesn't have it, it's not normal but is sure seems many people are getting defective units. My first iPod touch used to have backlight problems, it was present on top, button and both sides. Basically every side, seriously.

Do you have white or black 4S?
What are the first three digits your SN starts with?

Every DNP I got have it in some degree. None of the C39's have it.

Here is one more shot compared with my previous iP4:

4S:

100% brightness:

60% brightness:

The shots are taken with different cameras (4's in first case and 4S' in second case)- that is why the black appears differently.

Thanks for your comment!
I have to stop thinking there is existing perfection , but I have always been like this when it comes to technics I have owned.
In fact my iP4 really looks worse as white ballance and backlighting. It even has this screen "interlace" flickering issue, which I really cannot stand.
So, at least my 4S is several steps ahead as a problem- free unit..:)
