It's only noticeable on top of the screen, and only on lighter backgrounds which is strange because usually when I think of backlight bleeding I think of it showing only on black. Do you think I should try and get it swapped? It's irritating, but only because I'm anal with stuff like this. What would you do?

If you're irritated by something your phone is doing, and if I was you, I'd try to get it swapped out.

Also, others are discussing a similar issue here.
 
Yep they should have plenty of 4S refurbs by now, as many 4S units turned in by the OCD owners.

I imagine that if a Genius is willing to swap your phone out because of this, they would hopefully be kind enough to check that the new replacement doesn't do the same thing. You could always ask them to check before accepting it.
