Searched forums, with no luck, looking for the location of the backlight fuse for my mid 2010 Macbook Pro a 1278, 2.4 ghz. Display shows under a flashlight. Thanks in advance!

Found the fuse, it's reading 10.8 volts should be 12 volts. Could this be the problem?

With the magsafe plugged in it should measure 12.5V with respect to ground on both sides of the fuse. However, the safer way to measure it is to disconnect the magsafe and disconnect battery. Then put your meter in resistance measurement mode and measure the resistance across the fuse. It should be 0 ohms. If it is blown it will measure megohms.
