has anyone else noticed that the function keys don't show up very much when the backlight is on? or is that just my computer?

Same problem holds for the arrow keys. But it's explainable as the keys only have limited space for the light and the text on those keys is very small so not that much space for illumination to take place.
(BTW your topic name didn't made me think of backlight problems witht he keyboard, but with the display
)
