Backlit keyboard stopped working.

My backlit keyboard just randomly stops working. I can restart the computer and sometimes it starts working, but sometimes it doesn't. Any idea what is affecting this?

get it down to your local :apple: authorised repair centre, your in warranty!
 
Have you checked the illumination settings in your preferences?
