Okay this is very weird. I have an issue with the backlight of the keyboard on my recently purchased Macbook Pro - where it doesn't/fails to turn off when watching a movie on Quicktime or VLC player in window or full screen mode.
Whats weird is that when its set to 5 seconds, it turns off fine, on cue.
But when the light settings in the preferences pane is set to anything higher (10sec, 1 minute, etc) it doesn't turn off when the time is elapsed with no mouse/keyboard activity. Trust me, I checked multiple times with my watch stopwatch to confirm it haha.
