Backlog Time!

I decided it's time to work on my backlog! Past couple of days, I've picked up Half-Life 2 (Orange Box, PS3) again! My last save file was dated March 2008!!

Great fun, even if the graphics seem a bit dated today.

Also planning to finish Silent Hill Homecoming next - probably haven't touched that for two years or so.


What's your unfinished business? Any intentions on taking care of that? You slackers??

There's no way in hell I'm doing the PC version of this. I've got 200+ games on Steam and I only play 5-6 of them . These are games I've bought and only managed to put 0-30 minutes into so far, or in the case of RPGs; ones I've yet to reach the end of.

Oh god don't get me started..

I listed a few iOS games on a thread the other day that are installed on my iPad. 123 of them someone counted! Scary thing is ive added 3 more since then.

Guess how many I've finished! Err non. I think the real game is collecting them like pokemon and have them fight for space on me iPad screen lol.

I have a bunch more as well, but these are the two somewhat older ones that I have picked out for now to actually play again.

SH: Homecoming was inspired by the fact that Downpour was announced and looks interesting to me. Then I thought, "damn, I can't go buy that if I didn't even finish the last one".

And the Orange Box was inspired by the fact that Portal 2 is around the corner. I'm really enjoying HL2 - glad, I picked it back up!!


Also, I want to buy ME2 and LBP2...but I won't until I finish a few games I already own! So much fun gaming I spent money on and that I haven't enjoyed yet sitting on my shelf! Red Dead Redemption - supposedly one of the best games last year, bought it at launch, and played for maybe two hours so far. Shame, shame...

Just picked up Halo Reach statue pack for $60 at GameStop, so I guess that's "Backlog" - bought it for the statue, though...

And the really bad thing is I just want to replay OLD games I have already beaten or grind in some RPG's I will never finish.

It's not just a backlog for me... overlap too. Can't decide if I want to play through Final Fantasy I+II and Chinatown Wars on my PSP or iPhone... glad I don't have a DS at the moment to stack the backlog and version decisions even higher.

Goal: Most games, fewest consoles... narrow my attention span to actually complete a game and get hooked.

In the meantime, I went and bought LBP2 and ME2....yeah, so much for backlogging!

No no no, you go back and finish those Episodes!
They're not that long. I think I beat Ep 1 at 6 hours and Ep 2 at 7 hours. I played them both over the course of a weekend recently. Really is a great experience.

With my current schedule, this translates into roughly 3 months and 4 months, respectively.

Where do I start... my intention is to eventually finish all of them, I normally grab one game and I doesn't leave the console/handheld until I beat, with a few exceptions.
