Has anyone bought an IPP or any other Apple related product from this website? I have never bought from them hence why I am posting this thread.

Some of their offers for the IPP 13" M4 are rather tempting. For example, a 1TB, Nano texture, WIFI model in 13" in 'excellent' condition is £1,250. For the same spec on the M5 model would be £2,000. See the screen grap below. That is a big difference in cost and I don't think a basic user (myself) would notice much of a difference if I paid a lot more ££ to just get the latest M5 model.

Spending over £1,000 for a second hand device is a little worrying as always bought from new (BUT you save a lot of ££)!

Thoughts would be welcome?

I bought my iPhone 13 Mini from them last year. Was a good process, phone was in excellent condition.

If it is 'Excellent' condition I think it would be near indistinguishable from new, plus you have the reassurance of an established company to fall back on rather than, say, a private seller.

I'm a big fan of refurbished, Apple Refurbished especially which I've used for my last 3 Macbook Pro's.

That is really reassuring to know, thank you! When your dropping over £1,000 on a second device you want to make sure you done your DD! Is the guarantee good with Backmarket? In the past I have always bought expensive electrical items from John Lewis (and of course paid a lot more)!

I have also looked at Apple refurb items but they do not seem to stock the IPP M4 and certainly not the M5 model! Hence why I came across Backmarket in doing a little research. They have a good website and the past reviews from buyers (who have bought an IPP in the last 12 months or so) have been pretty positive.

Re the excellent condition - appears to be 'like new' and as you say. It appears I would be hard pressed to notice the difference in that and a brand new one.

Also battery life/health - seems to be 100% on 'excellent' models...

Get one from CEX. Most towns and cities have a storefront so you can physically examine before buying, you get a 5 year warranty on all purchases and you can return it to a human if something goes wrong from pretty much anywhere in the UK.

My experience with online 2nd hand retailers is that they are full of it. You’ll get something they say is great but the battery health will be crap and there will be horrible scratches.
