Backordered!!!!

i ordered mine 9/14 and its still backordered. i heard some people who ordered later than i did and they got there phone already. WHAT DO I DO? I WANT MY PHONE! should i just go to bestbuy or att and just cancel my preorder?

Personally I would cancel. Then call your carrier to make sure your subsidy resets. Then make calls all around your area and/or pound the pavement.

You'll have a phone faster that way.

They sent letters to customers that preordered telling them tough *****... out of phones.

I still have one processing. If no response by midweek, I may cancel. Then again, I am happy to wait a few days to make sure these phones are worth it. Did get on of my orders, so will wait and see.

There was still a steady line at The Apple Store in Pasadena, CA and people were still getting iPhone 5. I would also suggest the Apple Store locations at The Grove & Glendale there are two stores right across from each other.
