Hi Macexperts..

I've just have had my Macbook pro 2011 running 10.7 crash on me and has gone for repairs.... for emergency purposes I am using my old macbook running 10.6.8. Is it possible to recover mails from my Time machine backup of the Macbook 2011.
Unfortunately they were a POP3 download and have been deleted from the server.. (a mistake I vow never to do again)...
I have been searching all over but cannot find a method that worked...
Please ANY ideas will be very welcome...

regards

What have you tried?

Apple Mail just uses the standard mbox format. Open mail > File > Import Mailbox > Files in mbox format.
