I'm still trying to figure out Pages, after having recently switched from MS Word. But ... I really, really miss the Backspace, Home, and End functions that you have on the keyboard of most Windows based PC's. Any ideas of how I can configure keyboard shortcuts, etc to make up for the lack of these functions on the Macbook Pro (13") keyboard? Thanks!

Im I'm not mistaken, pressing Command and Up or Down will act as home and end respectively. As for backspace, the delete key works.

cmd + up arrow = Home
cmd + down arrow = End

fn + up arrow = Page Up
fn + down arrow = Page Down

fn + delete = Backspace

Thanks guys ... I was sure that a keyboard shortcut existed for these functions. The backspace function is something I use all the time, so that was really important. Peace:)

fn + delete = Backspace

Sorry, nope. The delete key on the Mac keyboard is backspace. Forward delete (the traditional Delete key on a non-Apple keyboard, under Insert) is accessed using fn-delete on the Mac.

As for other shortcuts, OP, you can use the following (Windows equivalents on the right). Also, I'm without a Mac, so I might mix some of these up.

Home (beginning of line)

Command-left..............................Home

End (end of line)

Command-right............................End

Top of document

Command-up...............................Ctrl-Home

Bottom of document

Command-down...........................Ctrl-End
