Backtrack 4 or 5 with MBP MC700LL/A

im using a MC700LL/A with lion installed on main partiton. Nothing else is on it. I tried to boot BT 4 or 5, just TRYING to boot from live cd and i get this... same cd boots FINE with no problems on my gateway laptop. not sure what the problem is. i will post a pic of what im getting ( im not using any special boot methods, so if i need to please correct me. )

Backtrack 5 is booting fine on my 2010 MBP (I use for WiFi hacking). Not sure whats wrong there.

can you try booting another distro, say Ubuntu?

edit: maybe the type of DVD is messing with things? + vs - (long shot though)
