Backup and Restore MBP Disk

First post in this forum, just got my MBP13'', 3 days from ordering to delivering. Love it and especially backlit keyboard. Really cool.

Just one question: can I use disk utility to create a disk image to contain the fresh install OS X and bootcamp XP so that I will be able to go to this initial state at anytime by use disk utility?

Any inputs are appreciated!
