I have a jail broken 3GS on 3.1.2 with baseband 5.11.07. Is there a way to save the baseband. I need to take my phone in before the warranty is up to get a new screen as mine has about 20 dust particles beneath the glass. I am going out of the country on July 2 and need the unlock. I remember that there used to be a way to save the baseband and update the os. Is this still possible. I do not have my 3.1.2 backed up on the cydia servers

You can't backup or save your baseband.
If they replace your phone with a refurb and it's on 3.1.3 there's nothing you can do. If they just replace the screen and not update your iPhone your good.

I don't want to bring it in with the jailbreak on it but I may have to.
