Backup current 4s before going going to upgrade?

Do I need to backup my current 4s (and transfer purchases) using my iTunes before I leave for the store to get my 5s?

Or do they do everything for you during the upgrade process at the store?

Back it up (w/ iTunes).

Me personally though I always start fresh with my new iPhone.
