It should work. I don't see why not.

In fact, has anyone here every had any problems getting any external hard drive working with a Mac?

Edit: by the say, it seems like a decent price - although I see Circuit City has a 320 GB internal drive for $99. You could get that and an external enclosure for less than $143. I just bought a 500GB internal drive from Circuit City for $159 with a $40 rebate and I'm going to put it into an enclosure.

But perhaps paying a little extra is worth it for peace of mind if you're not comfortable doing this yourself.

Yup... the chipset of the first external firewire drive I had did not play nice with some random 10.3.x revision... OS X would refuse to recognize or mount it until a later revision. Such occurences, though, are rather out of the ordinary, I assume.
